1824 - John Cadbury opens a shop at 93 Bull Street, Birmingham, producing cocoa and chocolate.

1831 - business changes to manufacturer of drinking chocolate and cocoa. 1847 Cadbury moves business to Bridge Streeet, Birmingham, and takes on his brother Benjamin: name changes to Cadbury Brothers.
