The People Mover Group was made up of a number of manufacturers, including: General Electric Company (GEC), Balfour-Beatty, Brush Electrical Machines and Metropolitan-Camel. With the assistance of British Rail Research and West Midlands County Council, they manufactured the MAG-LEV transport system at Birmingham Airport.
