Light blue enamelled iron jug, formerly used in Farnborough Hospital, 1900-1950

This jug is typical of the items that would have been seen in a hospital ward in the first half of the twentieth century. It was probably used to carry water and would have been quite heavy to lift, but the enamel layer makes it easy to clean. This jug was used at Farnborough Hospital, now called the Princess Royal University Hospital, in Kent, England.
