Tube of 'Mephine' brand tablets, 10 mg. mephentermine sulphate. 95mm by 17 mm diameter, 14g. Outer printed label reads, ' .../"MEPHINE"/.../JOHN WYETH & BTOTHER LTD., 25 OLDHILL PLACE, LONDON, N.16/...' Tube is full of small oblong orange 'mephine' pills. As a drug, mephentermine has been used to treat hypertension and as a psychiatric stimulant. Made by John Wyeth and Brother Ltd., 25 Oldhill Place, London, N16, England, 1930-1970.
