Model steam train, 1/8 scale, comprising model steam locomotive, North Eastern Railway 2-2-2 No.9, Jenny Lind type, wood; model railway carriage, North Eastern Railway 4-wheeled 2nd class, and North Eastern Railway 4-wheeled `birdcage' parcel brake van, reputedly made at the Railway Carriage Shops at York and is said to have been carried in procession round the City by railwaymen to celebrate the inauguration of a nine-hour working day which came into force in 1872.
