Wash drawing, Pumps, Ventilating Shaft, Kilsby Tunnel. July 14th, 1837, by John Cooke Bourne. Depicts a railway construction site with parts of a pump in the foreground. Beyond is an engine house and the top of a ventilating shaft. Original work for 'Drawings of The London & Birmingham Railway by John C Bourne with an Historical and Descriptive Account by John Britton FSA' published in 1839.
