Painting, watercolour, Richmond Station on the York & Newcastle Railway, 1846. Depicts the station buildings and stationmaster's house with the town of Richmond on the hillside in the distance. In the foreground are mules loaded with packs and a carter's wagon filled with coal. A carriage with four passengers approaches the station. Framed.

Watercolour painting of Richmond Station on the York & Newcastle Railway in the North Riding of Yorkshire, 1846. The painting depicts the newly completed station, which opened in September 1846. The station was designed by the York architect, G T Andrews.

Richmond station closed in 1969 and in 2007 re-opened as a leisure centre, with a cinema, art gallery, cafe and shops.
