Watercolour, Lincoln, the Glory Hole, by J C Moody about 1953. Depicts the High Bridge over the River Witham in Lincoln. On the bridge are half timbered buildings, with the 'glory hole' arch beneath. Original artwork for British Railways (Eastern Region) poster Lincolnshire, See England by Rail. On the reverse of the board is part of Fred Taylor's original artwork for the poster Colchester, Express services and cheap fares, a London & North Eastern Railway poster featuring Colchester Castle. Framed, unglazed.
