This innovative small-wheeled bicycle was designed by renowned engineer Dr Alex Moulton. All Moulton bicycles are characterised by their small, high pressure tyres and a full suspension frame. The rear wheel features a rubber shock absorber that was also used in automotive engineering. Moulton is also known for his work on Mini cars and he designed the rubber suspension for the Mini car in the late 1950s.
