The Imperial Model 50 typewriter was designed by Arthur Bott Pateman for the Imperial Typewriter Company and made in Leicester, England. The design was patented in various countries in 1925 and 1926 and production began in 1927. The serial number of this Imperial model 50 typewriter, serial number 91141, can be dated to 1930.
