Wooden form board with various shapes, marked 37001 and pencilled 'No. 1', by C.H. Stoelting Co. Chicago

Intelligence Test No. 37001 is a simple intelligence test. It consists of wooden blocks and recessed niches. The blocks project above the level of the board and are therefore easy to handle. The test used shapes, not language. This made it appropriate for people with limited English language skills such as children or immigrants. This wooden form board was produced by American manufacturer C. H. Stoelting and Company. It specialised in aptitude testing equipment. These included books, puzzles and mechanical apparatus.
