Hanger-Simpson wooden hand with all fingers articulated at the proximal inter-phalangeal and metacarpo-phalangeal joints. Passively moveable thumb, grooved at the tip, for holding a pen or pencil. The tips of all the digits are faced with black rubber. Made by Hanger, c.1948.
