Medallion, cupro-nickel, Eurotunnel Celebration '94, struck by the Royal Mint to commemorate the official inauguration of the Channel Tunnel on 6 May 1994. Brilliant uncirculated standard. Weight 50gms, diameter 50mm. Obverse, inscribed in English, cnetral motif of two people arms outstretched around tuneel; reverse, inscribed in French, motif map of tunnel beneath Channel between Folkstone and Calais. Encased in commemorative colour brochure 16.5x10cm opening to 29cm
