One tinder box. In brass, rounded ends. Engraving on lid: man driving a wheeled steam car; man overhead riding a winged aerial machine. [ie, c1830 in manner of contemporary March of Intellect prints satirising the progress of steam power; man overhead saying to coachman 'why don't you burn charcoal you low rascal']. 6 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 1" deep; 16x6.5x3cm.
