Caricature of the opening of the Great Exhibition, with Queen Victoria seated enthroned in garland outside the Crystal Palace, beefeater and others in attendance. Dancers around garlanded maypole include Prince Albert in Prussian style helmet; a Joker on a locomotive engine runs over a figure of war.
