Silver medal, silk ribbon, Miltary Medal awarded for "Bravery in the Field", awarded to SGt. W. McKim of the RAMC, artist B.M., medal English, 1914-1918; Miltary Medal (M.M.) was instituted on 25 March 1916. It as awarded for gallantry and devotion to duty whilst under fire. Recipients of the medal were entitled to use the letters M.M. after their name.
