Primovlar 50 ED tablets by Schering/German Remedies Ltd., one of a selection of drugs and related material from India, 1975-1980.

Primovlar tablets contain a combination of levonorgestrel and ethinylestradiol. These drugs are used in oral contraceptive pills such as Primovlar to prevent pregnancy. The manufacturer’s instructions state one tablet should be taken daily. Levonorgestrel and ethinylestradiol can be prescribed in larger doses as emergency contraception. This can be taken up to 72 hours after intercourse. The tablets were manufactured in India by German Remedies Limited.
