'Blackmore' electrotype printing plate with a facing of chromium developed by Nickeloid Limited in 1963. Used for high quality work in monochrome and colour. Plate has electrolytically deposited lead backing and is laminated on to aluminium, one of thirty six specimens (mainly printing plates), mostly in current use. 1890-1950.
