Clement PPN (Pre and Post Natal) Detector, a sound-based diagnostic device developed by Dr Michele Clements for screening the central nervous system of the unborn child, made in England, c1975-1980

The PPN detector is a sound-based diagnostic device developed by Dr Michele Clements for screening the central nervous system of an unborn child. It represents a novel and personal approach to foetal monitoring, and adds to the Science Museum’s currently small collection of ultrasound equipment.
