Diagnostic Audiometer, type TA151, used by Dr Michele Clements in her studies of hearing in the unborn child, made in England under the Kamplex tradename, c1970-1980.

This audiometer was used by Dr Michele Clements to study the development of hearing during foetal growth. It is one of a several of items of equipment acquired by the Science Museum which were developed and used by Dr Clements at various London maternity hospitals. They represent a novel and personal approach to foetal monitoring.
