Painting, oils, for Teesdale, High Force, Middleton-in-Teesdale, 1962, by Edward Wesson. Depicts the magnificent High Force waterfall cascading down a rocky cliff face into the plunge pool below. Two women and a man can be seen to watch from the banks opposite. The waterfall is located at Forest-in-Teesdale, in the heart of the Durham Dales. Original artwork for British Railways North Eastern Region poster. Framed 637 mm x 875 mm. Wooden, modern, painted frame.
