Chuckmuck (length 4 3/4 ins); on flap, three steel mounts, secured by rivets of copper; that at each corner bears conventional design of foliage, damascened in gold; that in centre bears a large Swastika, also damascened in gold; contains tinder (plant-down) and flint (a minute splinter of quartz); attached to ring by a leather thong, a foot long, is a heavy hollow hemispherical iron button for use as a toggle and tinder-holder to hold the tinder whilst flint and steel were being struck together over it.
