Six of John Walker's "Friction-lights" (each 3 x 1/6 x 1/32 ins), of pine-wood; apparently cut by a plane; heads of red sulphide of antimony; reputed to have been bought, direct from John Walker, with others now in the Museum of the Society of Antiquaries of Newcastle-upon-Tyne; presented by the Council of that Society, through Mr. Parker Brewis, FSA, of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, in 1926. England.
