Pathé Baby 9.5mm Projector, made by Pathe in France, 1922.

This Pathé Baby 9.5mm projector is fitted with a Baby-Color filter wheel with five colour filters which could be rotated in front of the projection lens to colour the black-and-white film image as the projectionist desired.

This amateur home movie projector was hand-cranked and took up to 60 feet of 9.5mm film in the Pathé magazines (or chargers) fitted at the top of the machine. The film fed into the chamber at the bottom and could be rewound using the small crank handle at the top. The projector had a low voltage electric bulb, housed in the lamphouse to the left of the crank handle.
