A photograph of the making of a programme by the BBC about driving errors, taken by Saidman in 1939 for the Daily Herald.
The television presenter Jasmine Bligh phones a test call to Scotland Yard. The BBC were filming on the Barnet by-pass to show examples of motorists' driving errors.
Two Saidman brothers, Reuben and Barnet, worked as staff photographers for the Daily Herald. Their photographs are simply stamped 'Saidman' on the reverse, making it difficult to tell which of the brothers took the photograph.
