'Train driver, Jack Mills, with his grandchild, Stephen' Jack Mills was the driver of the train involved in the Great Train Robbery.

Jack Mills (1905-1970) was the driver of the train involved in the Great Train Robbery. Mills was attacked by the robbers, and handcuffed to the train's second man. He never fully recovered from his injuries.
