'Coronation Scot' prepares for United States tour and World's Fair visit

A photograph of the train 'Coronation Scot', taken by Saidman in 1939 for the Daily Herald.
The train was being prepared for a United States tour and a visit to the New York World's Fair.
Two Saidman brothers, Reuben and Barnet, worked as staff photographers for the Daily Herald. Their photographs are simply stamped 'Saidman' on the reverse, making it difficult to tell which of the brothers took the photograph.
