Analytical balance, Oertling model 3A chemical/second-grade analytical balance in standard glazed mahogany case with front doorslide. 12" brass beam with agate knives and planes; 100g capacity, 0.2mg sensitivity. No serial number, pre-1882. Aluminium pans (not original, oversized) on brass bows. Repair number indicates factory overhaul in 1921/2. Complete (lacks spirit level, weights and accessories) and functioning.
