Electric comb with original box and instructions. Made in 1920s by White’s Manufacturing Co.

Ready to spark some life into your hair? Some manufacturers made bold claims about the power of their appliances. This 1920s electric comb was described as ‘miracle’ device. It allegedly thickened hair, cured baldness and soothed aches and pains. Despite the maker’s claims, the electric comb did none of these things.
