Electric shock treatment sign.

Part of the Bob Gray collection of electrical objects.

As well as giving first aid advice the sign was produced by the Vulcan Boiler and General Insurance Co. Ltd to encourage users to regularly inspect their electrical plant to reduce the risk of fire or accidents associated with insurance claims. The notice refers to several pieces of legislation regulating the use of electricity in the work place, reminding the viewer that electrical energy can be highly dangerous if not controlled correctly.
