Heat lamp made by PIFCO. Bowl-shaped reflector, polished interior, cream-painted exterior. Containing infra-red element. Mounted on cream-painted cast-iron base with wingnut.

Heaters such as were used for easing aches and pains on the body rather than as room heaters. The design style of the heater is influenced by medical machinery.
