Moving day for the orangutans at the London Zoo.The London Zoo's orangutans 'Mr Jiggs', 'Lizzie' and 'Anabelle' were today moved to new, and bigger, quarters. The Old Elephant House at Regent's Park has been altered to accommodate them and provide more room for these animals to play their extremely agile and energetic games. Photograph shows: 'Anabelle' shaking hands with well-wishers as she leaves for her new quarters today. 13 May 1953
