Manufacturers of balances and hydrometers, based in London. The business was established in 1847 by Ludwig Oertling. It became Ladd & Oertling from 1850-1869, then partnership with sons as L. Oertling until c1914, when it became the limited company L. Oertling Ltd. From the 1950s the company became known as Oertling Ltd.
