Boilermaker and shipbuilder based in Annan, Scotland. Established in 1878 by James Taylor Cochran in Birkenhead. The company moved to Scotland and was registerd as Cochran & Co Annan Limited in 1898. In 1969 the company merged with John Thompson of Glasgow to become John Thompson Cochran.
