Grant, Bernard Unknown - 1935

Bernard Grant was a world event and celebrity photojournalist and photographer. His photography documented wars, revolution, royal tours, and natural disasters. He was the youngest of the three Grant brothers who all worked for the Daily Mirror between 1908 and the early 1930s. Bernard Grant was attached to the Turkish army in the Balkan war and served with the RAF and the Navy in World War I. He also wrote a memoir "To The Four Corners" of which there is a copy in the Grant Brothers Archive. He died of a lung disease contracted on an overseas assignment.
