Morrison Busty Colliery, a coal mine, opened in 1927 at Annfield Plain, Durham. In the 1930s it was owned by Holmside & Southmoor Collieries Ltd. and in 1947 by the National Coal Board (N.C.B.). It had two pits, East and West. The colliery closed in 1973.
