Rockefeller Foundation

The Rockefeller Foundation’s aim from the beginning was to promote and strive for the well-being of humanity throughout the world. The Rockefeller Foundation works with trust and communities around the globe to try to solve the world’s most challenging problems, particulally for the societies that have the least.

During the GM crops deabtes they supported biotechnology as a means of helping to solve world hunger in poor and developing countires such as those affected in Africa. Launched in 2006, the Alliance for Green Revolution (AGRA) was focused on targeting African farmers, aiming to help them double their yield and provide an income for their families.
