Tthe Rochester Camera Mfg. Co. was founded, in 1891, by H. B. Carlton, the brother of Rochester Optical's founder W. F. Carlton. Later it became known as the Rochester Camera and Supply Co.. One of its main products was the Poco folding camera, which came equipped with Poco shutters. In 1899 it joined the new group Rochester Optical and Camera Co. which was taken over by Kodak in 1903.
