Guy Pène du Bois was an American painter and writer. He traveled extensively, spending much time in Paris. He produced courtroom sketches and satirical drawings for the 'New York American' newspaper, as well as writing art criticism for the newspaper. He was involved in the planning of the 1913 Armory Show in which he exhibited 6 works. He was editor of 'Arts and Decoration' magazine.
