Founded in 1812 by Aaron Benedict. It has also been known as Benedict & Coe, Benedict & Burnham and Benedict & Burnham Manufacturing Co. Between the years 1960-1991 the company went through massive expansion and made many acquisitions which led to the development of the Waterbury Companies into the fields of air filtration and freshening, pest control and cleaning products.
