Worked with Cedric Williams on the Hargrave Automatic Navigator. This instrument was fitted to aeroplane cockpits enabling pilots and navigators to establish their geographic al position. Known colloquially as 'Hargrave's Moving Map': a later version was fitted to Concorde in 1967.
