1847 - Founded by Werner Siemens (1816-1892) with his brother, Johann George Halske as Siemens & Halske Telegraph Construction Company in Berlin.

1890 - Werner von Siemens handed the company over to his brother, Carl, and his sons, Arnold and Wilhelm.

1897 - Siemens & Halske became a stock corporation as Siemens & Halske AG.

1903 - Parts of Siemens & Halske AG were merged with Schuckert & Co. to become Siemens-Schuckert.

1919 - Siemens & Halske AG, along with two other companies, formed Osram lightbulb company.

1966 - Siemens & Halske AG, Siemens-Shuckert and Siemens-Reiniger-Werke merged to form Siemens AG.
