Publishers of locomotive interests. Located at 3 Amen Corner, Paternoster Row, London, E.C. The Locomotive Publishing Company were probably the first organisation to make railway photographs commercially available. The company was formed by A. Bell, A.R. Morton Bell and W. J. Bell and together they began publishing Moore's Monthly Magazine, which soon changed its name to the 'Locomotive'. The company went on to produce locomotive postcards, and develop a huge photographic archive. In 1951 the company was bought by Ian Allan.
