Thomas Smith & Sons (Rodley) Ltd. originated in the Village of Rodley, Leeds in Yorkshire. The Firm were a builder of Steam Cranes for Railways and Quaries, before going on to build Diesel engines excavators and cranes, and eventually Lorry mounted Latice jib cranes.
