Worked at 26 Drummond Road, Bournemouth. First editor of 'Kinematograph and Lantern Weekly'; patented many optical novelties such as stereo pictures, pop-up books, cinematography, 3-D movies and jigsaw puzzles. In 1907 he patented the Spirograph which showed pictures on a disc.
