Described as the Gloucester & Cheltenham Railway in the Act of 28 April 1809 but more usually known as the Gloucester & Cheltenham Tramroad. Opened in 1810. Bought jointly by the B&GR and C&GWUR in 1837, but acquired in its entirity by the B&GR in 1838. The tramway was abandoned and the company dissolved by an Act of 1 August 1859.
