Pair of extension prostheses for an 11 year old boy born with very short lower limbs. Blocked leather, open-ended ischial tuber-bearing sockets (to allow the feet to hang free). Steel side struts connecting sockets to metal shins. Hand operated knee locks (set on the left side as the boy has absence of the right forearm and hand). Moulded plastic feet with rigid ankles. Made by Hanger in 1981.
