Mobile phones are an important but expensive commodity in Cameroon. For this reason, there is a business market for mobile phone repairs. This repair workshop belonged to a well established repair man called Appolinaires Tellen, who also helped to set up an association of phone repairers, in order to share knowledge and parts.
