The poster shows an aerial view of the coast line including all three Blackpool piers, the Tower (built 1894), steamer ships, sail boats, beach huts and so on. Below the 'Blackpool' title is a crest with 'Progress' written below it and four small illustrations on the crest. The lower half of the poster has 'Glorious Sea. Health & Pleasure.'. Below this are lists of the various attractions regarding 'Climate', 'Special attractions' and 'Accommodation'. Roundels in the lower left and right corners show the promenade and the lifeboat. Midland Railway is written along bottom of the poster. 587 x 484mm.
