Two hand painted panoramic lantern slides of the Royal Carriage procession to the opening of the Great Exhibition, 1851. One depicting the Royal coach being pulled by a team of six horses, the other of a group of seven caricature figures representing the Corporation of the City of London, comprising Beefeaters and a John Bull type figure, one holding a corporation banner, another with a flag dated 'First of May 1851', both in mahogany mounts.
